Most home fragrance is one of two things: cheap and harsh, or expensive and quiet. We wanted something in between — a range we'd actually want in our own house, paired with a system strong enough to scent a whole room without being overpowering.

We don't pretend to compose the oils ourselves. We taste-tested hundreds of compositions from international perfumery houses and chose the 31 that work best in a British home — a rainy hallway in February, a kitchen that's just had supper cooked in it, a bedroom you actually want to sleep in.

Every bottle is filled, labelled and packed in our Nottingham studio. The kraft boxes — printed with our Bauhaus pattern — are recyclable.
