Where to use this aquatic diffuser oil

Conservatories, bathrooms and bedrooms. A conservatory is the natural home for it — glass, plants, warm afternoons — and this is the aquatic diffuser oil in the range with enough body to fill a bright room without thinning out in the heat.

In a bathroom it behaves differently to the other two marines: less mineral, more floral, and it lingers longer after the door is opened. In a bedroom the sandalwood and amber base do most of the talking by the evening, which makes it a comfortable overnight scent.

Is The Garden right for you?

Choose it if you like florals but want something with water running through them, or if you have found other aquatics too cold and too clean. The five-flower heart gives it real character, and the wood and incense base means it does not smell like fabric conditioner.

Skip it if you want the sea. The Beach is the salt-air one — marine aldehyde, seaweed, ambergris, properly coastal — and The Tide is the cool, quiet, cucumber-and-seawater option for a small bathroom. Both are far more mineral than this.

One practical note: at thirteen notes this is a busy blend, and it wants a bit of space. In a large or well-ventilated room it opens out properly. In a downstairs loo it can feel crowded.

How to use it

Cold-air diffusion only — this is a concentrated oil, not something for a reed diffuser, a candle or a wax burner.
